The chain hunger strike of 300 people was a continuation of a protest staged by Jan Tamas and Jan Bednar from No Violence - www.Nenasili.cz, who kept a 21-day hunger strike against the radar last year 2008.
Polls show 65-70% of Czechs opposed the radar base.
